N.R. Bates and Son was founded over 40 years ago.

A family business run by father and son Neil and Richard Bates, the Company operates the Proton franchise for the South Yorkshire area, the range includes the Lotus designed Gen-2 and Persona both these models are now available in LPG as well as the successful Savvy and Satria Neo. We are also the main agents for Perodua cars; models include the Kenari Mini MPV and the MYVI 1.3 Both available in Manual and Automatic.

Also for a number of years they have specialised in Land Rover repairs and servicing . MOT, servicing and repairs are undertaken within the modern workshop facilities by a team of qualified mechanics trained to work on all makes of cars, under the guidance of director Richard Bates, the emphasis being on friendly, honest quality at sensible rates.
